Nice oil sketch, Martin. I like the way you captured the light from the window and the whole feel of the figure’s pose and I wonder what she’s thinking.
to tell you some more about it, it was almost sunset then i turned the lights off so i worked almost in the shadows so the natural light was coming in from that only window in the studio. i was almost guessing what i was doing as i could barely see my paper and palette but it was great to work in oils in the dark and fast enough as if i was sketching in watercolurs. about what she was thinking about…mmm i real don’t have any clue, hahahahah. thanks so much for visiting!! big hugs.
