When I started blogging, I did a couple of tries with different sites, I didn’t know anything about it, one day i decided to try wordpress so i opened this account in 2007 too but imported my other blog here only a few months ago. Now, even though I found wordpress has many interesting features that blogger doesn’t have, for me the latter is easier to use so I won’t be updating this blog due to lack of time.

a 20 minutes sketch in oil and turpentine, on paper with a previous layer of gesso. no details, just trying to quickly capture shapes and masses of lights and shadows.

once more, me facing a mirror, this time oil pastels and turpentine to blend at hand… (I should use cleaner colours but i can’t help mixing and using dirty ones, haha). I was too tired when i did it so now i realized my eyes are in a different line but the idea was to also not add too much details. i tried to make it using shapes and not using lines i mean rather pictorial than drawing

an attempt to do a portrait of someone famous. colour pencils, not watercolour pencils this time, i tried some new ones. i need more practise, that equals TIME.
later i’ll if i can find who the rights of the origunal pic belong to, then add it here, as obviously i didn’t take it

i made this sketch out of a photo reference from my holidays 3 years ago. i was there a couple of weeks ago though this year i didn’t take any photo at this site…

wow, I been out of touch lately I guess. had lots to do by the end of the year with school and work, then went to the seaside for 10 days, so here i am, in the heat of the city again…

these are a couple of works i did last december for a final exam… on teaching :S

i’ll see if i can scan some others of this series later
