i made the drawing in black with markers, scanned it and coloured it with the PC, to use it in the promotion of a musical show, then i also made an engraving out of it for school. i already engraved the other two colours i’ll print but still haven’t made any colour printings, just the black part which in fact will be the last one to be printed in the process.

it looks like an obsession but it’s not. it’s just i’m working on this woodcut, and someone asked me to upload a pic of the woodcut itself. Here’s a scan i did before i added a couple a details while checking the image, you know, horizontal flip (mirror) then change black into white, etc.
The upper part is missing as it’s doesn’t enter the scanner, it’s 24 x 30 x 0.3 cm (9.6 x 12 x 6/5 inches). I can’t scan it rght now since it’s all golden and full of xilographic ink, then i’m posting this one.

i already stamped it in colours. the first print is a solid dark purple colour rectangle, then when dry i printed the woodcut in golden ink on top.
it’s the first try that’s why the golden print doesn’t look ok. once i make other copies the layer will look solid.
(the image: i used a sketch i did of a painting by Fader)
